Feng Shui tips to transform your home, office & life

Feng shui shows us how our spaces can be designed and re-arranged in order to provide us the right balance and harmony. Simple things such as the position in which we place our desk, can become determinative to the harmony we feel in that space, and affect factors such as the concentration we may have when working in that space.

How to start applying Feng Shui?

For getting the better result from Feng Shui, start asking questions about your surroundings and be more attentive.

  • What is happening close to your main door/ how much Chi, or Universal energy does your space inhale?
  • What is happening right after you enter your home - how is the Chi distributed throughout your space?
  • What is the state of your kitchen and your bathroom, do you feel happy in these two spaces?

Once you understood the surrounding, you need to start practising feng shui principles. After you have done a thorough "scanning" of your space, taking care of every detail that surrounds you.

  • You have to start clean before applying the more advanced levels feng shui, or they will most probably not work for you.
  • No matter which Kua number you are, you have to have all areas strong in order to have a balanced flow of energy in your space
  • Apply the Bagua to your space and see which area are out of balance/undernourished or overpowering

Only after all these steps are followed, you will look deeper into adjusting your space according to your own best directions

Feng Shui Tips

  • Always look deep into yourself and don’t be afraid to do so! That is the only way to develop and change in a beneficial way. Be honest with yourself – you deserve truth and awareness.
  • Try to open your palms, close your eyes and reach your arms up and out, as though you are waiting to be picked up or embraced. (This is necessary for unifying your soul with the universe)
  • Imagine the energy radiating from your heart, your lungs, your palms and that the energy is touching everything in its path.
  • Beam the energy away from you, sending it into the farthest corners of the universe.
  • Repeat this mantra: “I am open to positive change in any form it takes."
  • While placing furnitures in house, keep the minimum numbers as per need
  • Having Fu Dogs is essential. They guard the home and/or business.

Obviously there is far more to feng shui than this basic introduction. For an in-depth look at the subject, there are many good books available in bookstores or your local library
